Explore the Algarve compares tours and activities across the major booking platforms and, where relevant, the operator's direct booking page. The goal is to make the differences between sellers visible in one place: price, cancellation policy, total time including travel, group size, boat type and season.
How prices are collected
Prices are checked manually against each seller for each activity, then entered into the site. Each seller row on an activity page shows the date the price was last checked. Prices are refreshed periodically rather than in real time.
A seller may change its price, apply a seasonal promotion or add booking fees at checkout after the last check. The price on the seller's site at the moment of booking is the one that will be charged.
Which sellers are covered
The comparison currently covers GetYourGuide, Viator and Civitatis, plus direct booking pages for operators who run their own. Additional sellers are added when they carry a meaningful number of Algarve activities.
Ranking
The default sort is the lowest price. Other sort orders use only the criterion selected by the reader: highest rated, shortest total time, or longest duration. Commission from affiliate links does not influence ordering or ranking. Details of the affiliate arrangement are on the affiliate disclosure page.
Limits
- Prices are not live and may have changed since the last check.
- Availability is not shown. Confirm dates on the seller's site.
- Not every activity in the Algarve is listed.
- Ratings shown are aggregated from sellers and are indicative rather than definitive.

How often are prices updated?

Which sellers are included?
The comparison covers the major online resellers that stock Algarve tours, currently GetYourGuide, Viator and Civitatis, plus direct booking pages where an operator runs its own. Sellers are added when they offer a meaningful number of activities in the region.
Does commission influence the ranking?
No. The default sort in every comparison is the lowest price, and every other sort uses only the criterion selected by the reader. Which activities appear on the site is decided independently of any affiliate arrangement.
Why is a price on this site different from the seller's site?
Prices change between checks, sellers run seasonal promotions, and some sellers apply currency conversion or booking fees at checkout. The price on the seller's site at the moment of booking is the one that will be charged.
Why is a tour missing?
Activities are added over time. If a tour is not listed, it either has not been added yet, is no longer running, or does not fit the categories currently covered. Suggestions are welcome by email.
